About Lauren and That’s Near Philly

Lauren was born and raised in Bucks County, PA, right outside of Philadelphia. She grew up exploring the area with her parents, whether it was going into the city for museums or a show (does anyone else remember the original location of the Please Touch Museum?) or checking out some of the unique places surrounding the city.

Now, she’s always on the lookout for something fun to do with her kids on a day off from school or a long weekend. And there is SO much to do near Philly!

Philly is a popular city to visit, and there is already a wealth of information online about things to do and places to see in the City of Brotherly Love. Lauren created That’s Near Philly to share about some of the fun and interesting things available outside of the city (and okay, she sneaks some city fun in there too). It also gives her a good excuse to check out places she’s never been before. And who doesn’t love that?
